The vice-chancellor is pleased to inform all the students that the sports gala for the year 202X has been planned to be held from 1st November to 7th November 202X. The said event is being organized to provide you relief from the monotonous and hectic routine of your studies. Students become exhausted after taking their examinations, but sports are the best way to release all the stress exerted by the competition.
All students and faculty members are cordially invited to attend this fabulous event. You will be excited to know that more than 20 games have been announced in the sports gala 202X including cricket, hockey, football, chess, tug of war, badminton, volleyball, and handball. Students from all departments can participate in the said games of their own choice. Interested students are advised to register their names before the 31st of October.
To make this event more colorful and interesting, a cricket match between teams of faculty members and students has also been organized which will be played on the last day of the sports gala. A musical concert has also been organized by the musical society and it will hopefully at more charm to the event. Moreover, drinks and lunch will be served to all the Honorable guests during this event. The directorate of sports will remain open to hearing positive suggestions from you.
The abovementioned games will be played at different venues. The venue for all indoor games such as table tennis, volleyball, and chess will be the University gymnasium whereas, cricket, hockey football, lawn tennis, football, handball, etc. will be played on their respective grounds.
Students can also avail the facility of the practice sessions that will be starting tomorrow. For this purpose, renowned coaches of international prestige have been hired by the directorate of sports.
Dear students, this prestigious event will help improve and polish your motor as well as social skills. Consequently, you will perform better if you study.
